Quick carrot-tomato pizza
Easy pizza-base + Zsamboki pasta sauce = quick meal
If you are looking for a fast, satisfying way to make a pizza at home, follow this recipe, which we’ve adapted for you.. It pairs a simple yogurt dough with Zsámboki Biokert’s carrot-infused tomato sauce for a nutritious meal that comes together in under 20 minutes.
Ingredients you’ll need:
- The base: 350g organic flour, 350g natural yogurt, 1 tsp baking powder, and ½ tsp salt
- The special sauce: 1 jar Zsámboki Biokert Organic Pasta Sauce (with carrots)
- The topping: 200g Mozzarella and fresh basil leaves (if you can find them!)
How to prepare it:
- Preheat: Set your oven to 220°C. Place a couple of baking trays inside to heat up.
- Mix the dough: Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and yogurt in a bowl. Stir until a dough forms, then knead briefly into a smooth ball.
- Shape: Divide the dough in two and roll out into 25cm circles on a floured surface.
- Layer: Place the rolled out bases onto the hot trays. Spread the full jar of organic pasta sauce over the two bases. The organic herbs and onions in the sauce provide all the seasoning you need.
- Bake: Top with mozzarella and bake for 10–15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese has melted.
- Finish: Scatter fresh basil over the pizzas before slicing.
Serve: This is best enjoyed hot as a quick lunch or dinner. It’s an easy way to include organic vegetables in a meal while keeping the preparation minimal. Ideal for a school night!
