Csillagberek Waldorf School

   We are happy to welcome this week (Monday - Friday) our last group of students for their mezőgazdasági gyakorlát (farm experience), this time from Csillagberek school, Class 8.  We will be doing a lot of timely early autumn work with the class - some last sowings, a lot of weeding and hoeing, some bed preparation, and planting out - we guarentee 5 days of bordom-free gardening adventure.  We enjoy having student groups in the garden, as every group bring their own quality and character to the garden.  We hope that even if not every student goes away wanting to be an organic gardener (we'd be happy if one did!). we trust that after a week at Zsámboki Biokert the students have a bit more idea about what goes into growing vegetables in an ecologically sensitive way.
