Regi is Back Again!
On Sunday afternoon 33 Class 9 students from the Göllner Mária Regionális Waldorf Gimnázium for their full week of farming experience.
This is our second Class 9 group this season (we have been hosting groups for the last 4 or 5 years), we will have 3 groups altogether this season. We enjoy hosting groups of Waldorf students for their farming experience weeks as we see it as an opportunity to reach a wider group of future consumers (and hopefully the occasional new farmer!), to be able to experience what it is like to grow food organically, regeneratively, and to think about and talk about the food system we are all part of. We all hold an individual responsibility for the food choices we make, and the impact that these choices have on the natural environment and on our health (and the health of our families and friends). Choosing to support locally grown, small-scale, independent organic-regenerative farms means a very positive choice to support the environment and the well-being of your family. We very much hope we could sow some seeds into the youngsters for a hopeful future! Thank you for your positive choices!
