Birthdays and Propagation

Things are really heating up on the farm!

- not just the weather, but also the pace of work. This year we have taken on extra area, and have been quite ambitious about what we can produce - we hope we can keep on top of all of the work. This week we sowed onions, managing to get the seeds in the ground on a root day. We try to follow the biodynamic sowing calendar as much as we can manage. Theoretically, sowing storage crops on a root day helps with their storage quality.

Emese has been performing her magic in the propagation tunnel raising seedlings, Csaba had his birthday which we always celebrate at the farm - we love a bit of cake!
