On Friday we held a one-day team building day in Nagymaros - a bit of a break from the everyday garden work routine, but not a complete break from work!. We had a very productive morning workshop, focused around how to improve our vegetable production system. Petro Csaba did a really good job of facilitating the morning (Csaba has many years experience as a Scout leader), and everyone got very involved in analysing our current production system - for a few years we have tried to adopt Lean management methods, and we have started to work with the Kaizen (continuous improvement) approach as well. What we know is that our success depends on the motivation and job satisfaction of our loyal team.
