Getting the Szent Ábrahami Transylvanian tea selection onto our range of products is something Matthew has been wanting to do for a long time. The company has a special connection for him, as co-founder, Wil van Eijsden was a good friend (sadly no longer with us) of his in his early days in Hungary. Wil was one of the first organic consultants in the region, and travelled throughout Central and Eastern Europe during the 1980's and 90's. Wil had encyclopedic knowledge of organic farming systems, and shared his knowledge widely and freely. Later in his life he settled in Szent Ábrahám (a beautiful village in Székelyland) and together with Emese, his partner, set up a diverse herb garden, which Emese has grown into a viable business.
