We have been preparing ground for our autumn crops and winter storeable vegetables (such as carrots, beetroots, cabbages). We have invested in some modern, small-scale weeding equipment - probably the first of its kind in Hungary. Matthew spent much time assembling the equipment and managed to try it out for a short time. It will be a great asset - however it does need a bit of time and practice to learn how to use it most efficiently. We'll introduce this mysterious equipment later - we promise!
It's been like a Christmas day for Matthew - to have received the parts from the US and spent all day and part of the night just before going of to the organic market in Budapest to assemble the parts... Sometimes these farmers can act like little boys again!
