2nd of February is a celebration of Candlemas. We are celebrating the end of the long, dark winter and sunlight increasing and getting warmer. A kind of defrosting, letting up commences. We very much feel its effect - january was hard on us, the destruction of the tunnels were the last straw. Now, the weather is warming, quality of the sunshine is changing, the new polytunnels have arrived, we have been repairing, taking off, replacing and making the new tunnels, the lambs were born, the long awaited seeds have arrived, the seeds have germinated, the hotbeds are getting hotter, we are setting off with renewed energy and hope for the upcoming spring season.
